More About Joy

I am a Joyful writer (My name means "The Joy" in French), and a follower of Jesus Christ. My goal in life and in writing this blog is to please him, become more like him, and help others to get to know him like I do.  If you're a fellow believer, I believe you will enjoy reading my posts and will find some helpful hints and insights within. If you don't know Jesus yet, well, some of these posts may present some new ideas to you. I invite you to explore these ideas with an open mind and heart as I show you what God has done in my life. And guess what? If you don't agree with me, that's okay! In fact, I'd love to talk with you about any questions or comments you have.

About me...well, I am a writer, teacher, and cat-lover.  I graduated from a local community college with my A.S. in the teacher education transfer program. This semester, I began studies at a SUNY school to continue studying to be an elementary school teacher. You may find me a bit less "loquacious" (my favorite word!) during the semester, since I have a pretty full schedule and workload.  But have no fear!  I promise I won't disappear completely!  You can also find some of my school and work related writing on my professional blog, lajoieward.wordpress.com. (yes, I platform-hopped!) My sincerest hope is that you will be blessed and encouraged by what I have to say.  :)
